Demian Gordon is a pioneer in the field of Virtual Production and Performance Capture.

He is the Virtual Production Supervisor, for the Advanced Creative Technology group, at Dreamworks Animation. The A.C.T group advances new forms of immersive content, on all platforms, using emerging technologies including AR,VR, real-time rendering, Virtual Production and Motion Capture.

Mr. Gordon’s past credits include roles, in various capacities, on such Feature Films as: How to Train Your Dragon 3, Kung Fu Panda 3, Home, Penguins Of Madagascar, Shrek 4, Oz The Great and Powerful, The Amazing Spiderman, Jack The Giant Killer, Rise of The Planet of the Apes, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Green Lantern, Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, The Watchmen, I Am Legend, Hancock, Beowulf, Monster House, The Polar Express, The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions, Enter the Matrix, as well as numerous television and video game credits (complete list available upon request)

From 2002-2009 Gordon was Supervisor of Special Projects for Sony Pictures, Imageworks.

During his time at Imageworks, Demian led the Next-Generation Motion Capture Technology Group to develop Sony’s Performance Capture pipeline and tools.

In the years leading up to his time at Imageworks, Mr. Gordon was the Motion Capture Department head at Rainmaker Digital.

Mr. Gordon has extensive AAA video game experience. He helped establish the first Electronic Arts Motion Capture stage in Canada and has worked on many of their main titles.

Demian has provided consulting services for companies world-wide.

He is the Chairman of the Motion Capture Society Board of Directors and has been a member of the Visual Effects Society for over 19 years.
